In an effort to stay updated (and after a bit of gentle prodding from a wonderful friend), I'm going to try photo-blogging. I had a site up once but didn't feel like my pictures were worthy to be seen by anyone other than family member.

Why the change? Well, it's not because I think my pictures are absolutely outstanding (ok, I do...) but because I'd like to document my growth as a photographer. I'm nowhere near professional; I've never taken any classes and don't have a top-of-the-line camera or lenses but I love what I do and I love being able to share all the special moments I'm able to capture.

That being said, here are my babies.

First up is Jacy. She's 8 and full of life. There's never a dull moment when she's around and she absolutely loves the camera. Whenever she sees me bring it out, she goes into model mode and immediately starts posing. Yes, she's a ham.




Next up is Drake. He's not so pose-ish but the camera loves him anyway. ;) Drake can usually be found playing superheroes or drawing, which he's really, really, really good at. Seriously. His drawings amaze me sometimes. They don't look like they came from a 6 year old.



And last, but not least, is Nolan. He's 20 months and a total mama's boy, which is ok by me...most of the time. ;) He's so full of life and thinks he's the boss, which he is, but no one minds much.



Well, I suppose that's all for now. I'll try to update this at least once a week, maybe more.
