Once again, I couldn't sleep so I took a drive downtown to get some more sunrise shots. The sky was just so gorgeous and it was really neat to watch how the colors slowly changed as the sun rose.

I couldn't sleep last night so at about 5am, I headed down to the river to take some shots of the sunrise. It's been a looooooong time since I've been up this early but I really, really enjoyed sitting down by the water. It was soooo quiet and peaceful. I even got to eat McDonald's for breakfast, which is awesome because I'm never up and moving early enough to ever get it. By noon, I'll probably be regretting not getting any sleep but for now, here are a couple pics from this morning.

I love how the sky changes from purplish pink before the sun comes up to a beautiful yellowish color after the sun rises.

Oh, and YAY! When I came home this morning, I noticed my flowers are finally blooming. I have no idea what they are but I've been waiting for the flowers to finally pop out.

Jacy got a couple of inches of hair cut off today. She looks absolutely adorable with her new 'do.

Ok, last post for today. :)

Thursday afternoon the library has story time so I took the kids down there for that. Luckily for Nolan, the window in the room we were in looks directly onto the water fountain across the street so he was enthralled by that the entire time. After story time was over, we walked over to the fountain so Nolan could see it upclose. I took a couple of pics but it was just too hot to stay there for very long.

Well, so much for posting once a week, eh? ;) Ok, so maybe I should attempt once a month.

Anyway, here are some recent pictures of us, my friend Sarah, and her 3 children at the sprayground.
